Thousands of religions are in the world and all these religions have their holy lands where their followers can visit on pilgrimage to feel closer to the one they believe in. For Islam, Mecca is the holy land and many people are currently there for Umrah.
Umrah is different from Hajj, but they are both pilgrimages. The only difference is that Umrah can be done at anytime of the year, but Hajj is a pillar of Islam and has to be done in the month of Dhul Hijjah.
